#1. Red plays his 27th move and wins. Red’s first couple of moves are deceptively unthreatening. As the commentator remarks, he sticks to the rule that “the rations and forage should be transported earlier than the troops.”

#2. Red plays his 23rd move and wins with a delightful illustration of the power of cannons working together to control the opponent's back rank.

#3. Red plays his 32nd move and wins.

#4. Red plays his 30th move and wins.

#5. Red plays his 60th move and wins.

#6. Black plays his 32nd move and wins with an exquisitely timed combination.

#7. Now for something a little more recent, from 01xq.com. Red plays his 37th move and wins with some nifty cavalry action.

#8. This ending is from a game of Hu RongHua, the greatest player of recent history. On his 27th move he evidently offers an exchange, but he has something more sinister in mind.
